Back on Big Sur though CRD was working just fine. So after moving my two work Macs to Monterey (clean install, no migration) I installed Chrome and Chrome Remote Desktop, and everything seemed fine. I've tried reinstalling Chrome, reinstalling CRD countless times, tried CRD in Edge, etc. However after some arbitrary amount of time (observed to be anywhere from 3-10 hours) all of a sudden CRD would not work anymore, and if I go to the host computer I see the "A problem was detected with the Chrome Remote Desktop installation on this computer." (see image). Click Add App to continue if you’re OK with the permissions. A popup will appear with the permissions the app needs in order to work properly. Click the Add To Chrome button at the very top right.
